Orlando International Airport sees record numbers during Easter weekend

It was a weekend for the record books at Orlando International Airport.  An estimated 160,000 travelers passed through the terminals at OIA.

Officials say the record numbers are likely due to spring break and Easter coming together at the same time this year.

The previous record was 159,000 that was set just last weekend.  The airport also increased security at the terminals in the aftermath of the terror attacks in Brussels.
