Officials remind you to lock your cars as break-ins increase

- Lock you car doors -- it's a simple reminder that can save your car and stuff inside.

Once again, with the holidays, police across central Florida are reminding people to do so as car break-ins increase. Police are stealing purses, wallets, and laptops.

Deputies say that four teens smashed out the windows of 78 vehicles in a hotel parking lot in Osceola County.

Orange County Sheriff John Mina said in a Facebook post to keep an eye out and protect your valuables.

Officials say to lock your valuables in your trunk or take them with you.
