Father accused of killing toddler daughter

LAKE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A Florida man is behind bars, accused of drowning his 17-month-old daughter.
 
Lake County deputies said Ocala police received a call about 9:30 a.m. on Monday from the child’s mother.  She explained that her husband, Jeremy Main, 38, of Lady Lake, had called her and said he killed their child.

Deputies say they showed up at the family's home, and when no one answered, they forced their way in and found the girl dead in the bathtub.  

Main later turned himself in at the Sumter County Sheriff's Office substation in The Villages. Deputies say Main and his wife had been having marital issues lately.

There are two teenagers who also live at the home, but they were in school during the incident.
