Officer deploys pepper spray and taser after two fighting students refused to comply

The Orlando Police Department reported Tuesday, that at approximately 9:19 a.m., an School Resource Officer on the Glenridge Middle School campus was radioed into a fistfight between two students.

Police report that in the process of breaking up the fight, the students would not comply with the officer's command, so he deployed his chemical spray. The spray had no effect on the two students fighting, so he then deployed his taser.

Two arrests have been made. Five students, including the two that were arrested, were treated on scene for the effects of chemical spray, police said. However, police also said that other students may have been treated by school personnel.
