The Orlando Police Department and the Orlando Fire Department deserve a round of applause after members ran up 25 flights of stairs Saturday morning.

The American Lung Association's, "Fight for Air" climb is an event designed to raise money for research, education, and patient programs to help millions of Americans suffering from lung diseases.

Each unit member with either department tackled a total of 512 steps, all with one mission in mind, and that was to reach their financial goal. According to the OPD's twitter page, officers were very close to their $100,000 goal.

What a way to make Orlando proud! Good job everyone.
