Ocoee police search for hit-and-run suspect

Police are searching for a car after a hit-and-run at an Orange County Publix.

Ocoee Police are on the hunt for the driver of the car.  There is surveillance video of the vehicle, which police say is a red and black 4-door Nissan.

According to police, a customer at Publix was trying to stop that car from leaving the parking lot. They say that the victim believed the passenger in the car had stolen items from the store.

Police went on to say that the victim was intentionally hit by the car, as the driver was trying to get away from the parking lot. The hit-and-run victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Ocoee Police say that they are asking anyone with more information to contact them or Crimeline.
