New road sign on I-4 misspells city, 'Alamonte' Springs causes confusion

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Heading towards Altamonte Springs? How about 'Alamonte' Springs?

A new road sign put up on Interstate 4 (I-4) near Altamonte Springs is misspelled, as it says 'Alamonte' Springs instead of 'Altamonte' Springs.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) says that the sign will be replaced on Wednesday night with the correct spelling of the city.
