NASA multi-billion dollar contracts for unmanned cargo spacecrafts

NASA is expected to award multi-billion dollar contracts to companies to build the next generation of unmanned cargo spacecraft. The new space crafts would take supplies to the International Space Station.

Current cargo-haulers Space-X and Orbital ATK are hoping to win the contracts. Boeing and Sierra Nevada Corporation also want a piece of the action. The contract would be worth 14 billion dollars.

NASA's plans have the space crafts delivering the supplies to the International Space Station in 2018.
