Winter Park Police are investigating the disappearance of a woman and are seeking a man they are calling a "person of interest" in the case.

Jennifer Lynn Fulford, 56, was last seen on surveillance video leaving a dental office on Canton Avenue in Winter Park around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

Fulford is employed as a nanny and did arrive at her employer’s home in the 100 block of Webster Avenue, investigators say.  Her boss notified police when she did not pick up his son as scheduled.

According to Fulford's husband, his wife's purse was found on the floor at her employer's home, but she was gone and so was her car.

"She is a very trusting and caring person, and I feel like someone took advantage of that," said Robert Fulford, who described his wife as being healthy with no known medical conditions. "It's unbelievable that something like that could happen to someone that just exhibits joy all the time."

On Thursday, investigators removed what appeared to be bags of evidence from the home. Investigators later released multiple photographs of a man they are hoping to identify and question.

"I noticed that there was some police cars out - a forensic unit in one of the driveways here," explained neighbor Joy Henderson.  "We watch out for each other her,e and we have alarm systems and video cameras and things like that, so hope to God that something was caught on this person's video system."

Fulford drives a 2015 grey Hyundai Sport Utility Vehicle with Florida tag number IKZB52.   Anyone with information on Jennifer Fulford’s whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Paul Foster at 407-599-3274 or Crimeline at 407-423-TIPS (8477).
