Mother, teen daughter found dead in Kissimmee home

KISSIMMEE, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Osceola County sheriff's deputies say a 39-year-old woman and her 17-year-old daughter are dead, both found by the grandmother in a home the three share.  

Neighbors were shocked to find several deputies' cruisers and crime scene tape surrounding the home on North Beaumont Avenue.  

"She woke up and found them in the bedroom," said Sheriff Russ Gibson.  

Sheriff Gibson says it appears the mother and daughter both had gunshot wounds. The sheriff would not say if this was a murder suicide, but did admit this is an isolated incident and they are not looking for a suspect.  

Neighbor Wes Thompson knows the family.  He says it just doesn't make sense.  

"Every time I see them together they're always happy," said Thompson.  

OCSO is waiting until next of kin is notified before releasing the names of the deceased.
