A 13-year-old boy continues to recover, after being in hit-and-run incident.

The mother of Cody Loechner says its tough watching her son in so much pain. She's hoping the car that troopers found today, is the one from the crash.

It's been nearly a week since Loechner was struck on his bicycle, and now troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol have found a 2000 white Toyota Avalon which they say could be the same one seen in the traffic video. Tami Loechner is grateful to the person who called in a tip so that troopers could located the car.

"I can't thank the tipster enough for doing the right thing and calling it in."

She is also thankful to everyone who helped her son and called 911.

"Someone just got hit on a bicycle 60 miles per hour a small white sedan. Hit and run," a caller told a 911 dispatcher.  "A hit and run ma'am, somebody hit this little boy. Somebody hit this baby."

"Is he awake?" the dispatcher asked.

"No, he can't move, his right leg is broken.... his arm is broken. Stop moving. Please baby. You don't want to get hurt."

While the FHP said the owner of the car is cooperating, they have did not immediately name a suspect.

Meanwhile, Cody struggles to survive.

"He's fighting very hard. He fights everyday. He's in a lot of pain everyday still."

Troopers are now conducting tests to see if the towed on Thursday is the same car.
