Man tries to rob victim, but is shot after victim grabs gun and shoots

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - At about 6:34 a.m. Wednesday morning, the Orlando Police Department says that they responded to a shooting at the 7-11 store on Silver Star Road.

Upon arrival, officers reportedly located a black male, who was about 21-years-old, with a gunshot wound to the torso. 

The report says that officers located a suspect inside the store. The suspect told police that the other male with the gunshot wound had attempted to rob him, but he was able to get the firearm away form him and shot him.

The male with the gunshot wound has been transported to the hospital and is in critical condition.

Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators are on scene.
