Man charged with attempted murder of deputy

A father and son are under arrest.  Deputies accuse one of the suspects of trying to choke an Orange County deputy who was trying to arrest him after he tried to flee.

Benjamin Rauman, 26, is now charged with attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, along with several drug charges.   His father, Richard Frauman, 54, also faces drug charges.  It happened at a Burger King on East Colonial Drive around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Deputies were called there after a report of a suspicious vehicle, but they say when the two deputies approached the suspects, the younger man tried to flee.   Deputies said they eventually found the two men were in possession of heroin, cocaine, and hypodermic needles.
