Police investigate carjacking in Orlando

Orlando police officers are investigating a carjacking outside a Target near the Mall at Millenia. 

A police spokesman says the victim was cleaning a car when another man jumped into the car and drove away.  The victim received minor injuries and was transported to a hospital.

The suspect, described as a "young, black, male," did not appear to have a weapon, according to police.

"At Target, our guests are at the center of everything we do and our commitment to creating a safe and secure shopping environment in our stores is unwavering. As part of this commitment to safety, we have robust procedures, policies and trainings in place to ensure that our stores are safe places to shop and work," said Jena Reck, a spokesperson for Target.  "We're aware of the incident and have provided law enforcement with security video from the store."
