Maitland warns of 'aggressive otter' at Lake Lily

Authorities in Maitland are warning of an aggressive otter that has attacked, bitten and scratched several people near Lake Lily.

Some people blame the weekly farmers market for having food near the lake. However, Florida Fish and Wildlife officers say the people attacked by the otter were just minding their own business.  Several people walking their dogs now say they won't come out here at night.

FWC doesn't think this otter has rabies. Instead, they say it could be aggressive because of the shift in seasons.
