Lake Co. voters to decide on one-penny sales tax

In Lake County voters will decide the future of a one-penny sales tax.
Officials say it's been used since 1988 to fund road repairs, basic infrastructure and school improvements but opponents argue there aren't sufficient safeguards to stop those funds from being misspent by local governments.
The tax is set to expire in 20-17 and if approved it would be extended to the year 2032.
