Students in Lake County will now be able to "grade" their teachers.
The school district will allow students to take anonymous surveys to rate their teacher’s performance starting in November.
People are divided on this issue.
Officials say the survey is entirely voluntary and teachers and students can decide if they want to take part.
Officials say students in 6th through 12th grades can fill out surveys anonymously and the teachers are the only ones who will receive the results.
The district says it will simply get a confirmation that the teachers received the survey.
The school district insists that the surveys will not be used to evaluate teachers.
