Judge will not recuse himself in Markeith Loyd case

A judge says that he won't recuse himself from the trials of an accused killer.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Markeith Loyd's defense attorney made the request for Judge Frederick Lauten to step down. He says that Lauten can't be impartial because during the suspect search, he signed a warrant letting police wiretap Loyd's friend.

Authorities say that Loyd killed his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Sade Dixon, and Orlando officer Debra Clayton.
