Hit-and-run fugitive from central Florida caught in Dominican Republic
A central Florida fugitive who has been on the run for more than a decade is finally behind bars.
U.S. Marshals have located Carey Price in the Dominican Republic. Detectives say he escaped central Florida 12 years ago after he hit three workers in a construction zone on State Road 417 near University Boulevard in 2003.
One of the victims was killed and the other two were injured. U.S. Marshals are currently holding Price in Atlanta and will bring him to Orange County to face charges soon.
