Good Samaritan killed while trying to assist a disabled vehicle on I-95

The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says that a good Samaritan died while trying to assist a disabled vehicle on I-95.

A vehicle was reportedly stopped in the inside southbound travel lane of I-95 due to disabling damage from a previous crash.

FHP says that a good Samaritan, identified as Marcasia Crenshaw, stopped to assist the vehicle.

However, another vehicle was traveling southbound on I-95, reportedly approaching to rear of the vehicle on the inside lane. The vehicle attempted to break and swerve to avoid hitting the disabled vehicle, but struck Marcasia Crenshaw, the woman attempting to help the disabled vehicle.

Crenshaw's injuries were unfortunately fatal.
