Florida man executed

Florida has executed a man convicted of fatally stabbing his ex-wife, daughter and 2 in-laws.

Jerry Correll stabbed them to death in 1985.

Prosecutors said he did it because he was jealous his ex was dating.

Correll was executed Thursday night at the Florida state prison.

His last meal consisted of a cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard and mayo.

Correll met with a Catholic spiritual advisor for two hours before his execution.

This will be the first time the controversial drug Midazolam will be used in Florida since the U.S. Supreme Court ruled it was OK to use.

Detractors call the drug cruel and unusual punishment.
