Five people shot after shootout between two vehicles

Five people were shot in two different locations after two vehicles were believed to be driving and shooting at each other in Orlando. 

Police say the first shooting happened just after 2 a.m. in the are of Kirkman Road and International Drive. Witnesses say two vehicles were possibly shooting back and forth as they were driving north on Kirkman. When police arrived they found a person who had been shot in the face. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. 

Police say there were several rifle and handgun shell casings all over the roadway on Kirkman Road. 

Shortly after the shooting, police were notified that two more victims showed up at area hospitals with gunshot wounds, one of them in critical condition. 

Within the hour of the shooting on Kirkman Road, gunfire was heard coming from the area of I-4 and Conroy Road. Police got on the interstate and saw several cars were stopped on the interstate. Of of those cars had it's window shot out, but no one was inside police say. 

Orlando Police say they also found another car that had been riddled with bullets. Two people inside that vehicle were shot. Police say they were able to find a handgun and a rifle inside that vehicle. Another handgun was found laying in the middle of I-4. 

Witnesses there described a similar scene of two vehicles possibly shooting at each other. 

Orlando Police officers shutdown both, the interstate and Kirkman Road while they were investigating. 

No word on any arrest at this time. 

Police do believe both shootings are related, but continue to investigate.
