FHP: Garbage truck backs up over man and dog, man dead and dog at vet
ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Florida Highway Patrol has confirmed that there was a crash in Orange County involving a garbage truck that struck a 73-year-old pedestrian.
They say that the garbage truck was backing up when a pedestrian was walking his dog in the roadway on Prestbury Drive. The vehicle backed up over the pedestrian and his dog.
The pedestrian died at the hospital and the dog is receiving car at the vet clinic.
