Emergency order issued to help fight red tide outbreak

An emergency order has been issued from the Governor to help with the red tide outbreak.

Red tide continues to kill wildlife on the gulf coast. The order waives the rules for removing dead fish from beaches.

Right now, the red tide appears to be mostly in Manatee County. Several beaches in Sarasota are beginning to clear up.

SeaWorld is doing their part to nurse animals sickened by the red tide back to health. Rescuers say that it is making manatees sick at an alarming rate.
