Disney beaches are back open following deadly gator attack

- Disney has re-opened its resort beaches, after closing them in the wake of a deadly alligator attack.

On June 14th, an alligator pulled 2-year-old Lane Graves into the Seven Seas Lagoon, killing the toddler. An autopsy shows Graves drowned and suffered traumatic injuries. After the attack, Disney closed all resort beaches to guests.

Disney tells FOX 35 the resort beaches are now open, but there are changes. The beaches are only open when the sun is out, specifically from one hour after sunrise until one hour before sunset. There are also more signs and temporary barriers. Disney tells us they are working on permanent, long-term safety solutions, and staff will be at the beaches to help guests. Also, hotels with marinas are now offering all boat rentals.
