Deputies: Adult son stabbed mom, stepdad

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office has arrested a 28-year-old, accused of stabbing his mother and stepfather during a domestic incident near Titusville.

Robert Jaron Hamm is charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder domestic violence.

Deputies responded to the area of 1481 North Highway 1, Titusville just before 5 a.m. on Monday, after receiving information that a mother had been injured by her son.  Upon arrival, the woman told deputies that she had been stabbed by her adult son and she believed that her husband and son were still inside the residence.

Deputies entered the home and found the stepfather who was also seriously injured, they say.  Both victims were transported to a local hospital in serious, but stable condition.
