Man charged in death of Casselberry senior

CASSELBERRY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of elderly Casselberry man. 

Wallace Dean Worman, 87, was found deceased inside his home on Norwich Court following a well-being check by a friend.  Deputies said Worman appeared to have suffered severe trauma, and there was no sign of forced entry.

A person of interest, identified as Edward Israel Marrero, 23, was located and taken in to custody. Authorities said Marrero was not cooperating with the investigation.  He was jailed in Orange County on unrelated charges, but  late Monday, authorities formally charged Marrero in Worman's death.
