Daytona Beach shooting suspect turns himself in
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Daytona Beach Police have arrested a man they say shot and killed a 25-year-old.
Police say Rayshad Mincey, 25, turned himself in Tuesday night.
Investigators say the two men were involved in an altercation when Mincey pulled out a gun and shot Jarrod Swinton, 25, in the chest.
Swinton died at the hospital.
Officers say the suspect got into a car and drove off, before crashing into a concrete wall on Oak Street.
Investigators say he then took off on foot.
Mincey is facing a first-degree murder charge.
