According to a detective on scene, the Orlando Police Department plans to drain a pond on Silver Star Road over the weekend in order to continue their search for a child officers have named Baby Willow. Crews searched the water unsuccessfully on Friday.

Orlando Police say Susan Richardson admitted to giving birth to a baby girl on Monday, after placenta was found in the parking lot of the Willow Bend apartments. Police say Richardson, 30, won’t say what she did with the baby.

On Friday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office dive team methodically walked the perimeter of the pond.
When they turned up nothing, divers with scuba gear searched the middle of the pond.
