Central Florida schools receive high marks

- The summer report card is out for Florida schools. 

The Department of Education has released school grades for the 2017-2018 year and Florida schools are earning all sorts of high marks.

The results are calculated based on several categories, including graduation rates and test scores. This year, more than 1,000 schools got an 'A'-grade. That's up 2% from last year. The number of 'F'-schools is also down 23%, to 33 total. 

Brevard, Seminole, and Sumter County Schools came in with 'A'-grades, while Flagler, Orange, Osceola, and Volusia had 'B'-grades.
