Car stopped for speeding, but deputies find 18 baggies of meth
DELAND, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Lake County Sheriff's Office says that at just after midnight on December, a white BMW driven by Jesus Guitierrez-Ochoa was stopped by deputies in the DeLand area for speeding.
Deputies say they searched the vehicle and found 18 small plastic baggies of crystal methamphetamine. Powered cocaine, scales, other paraphernalia, and over $600 in cash were also located.
Mr. Guitierrez-Ocha and Mrs Marylin Figueroa (the only passenger in the vehicle, says the Sheriff's Office) were placed under arrest for the Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to sell, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
