ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) has reported that there are bears on Jay Drive in Altamonte Springs, Florida. They were spotted across the street from the "Teddy Bear Daycare."
A FWC worker posted a flyer on neighborhood doors to alert residents of the bears.
Reportedly, the cooler weather causes bears to move around.
The bears were just eating acorns and once they are done, they will move on, says FWC.
The FWC says there is no threat to public safety though.
