In honor of National Heart Month, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children hosted its annual Valentine’s Day party on Thursday to celebrate more than 100 current and former cardiac patients with congenital heart defects.

Officials say for more than 15 years, the event has provided an opportunity for children and their families to be reunited with the doctors and team who saved and continue to improve their lives.

The event has grown exponentially over the years, according to officials, featuring  teddy bear clinics, games, arts and crafts, face painting and more.

Arnold Palmer Hospital has been caring for children with congenital heart issues for more than 23 years and has one of the largest pediatric cardiac programs in the region.
