Accused cop killer Markeith Loyd back in court

ORLANDO, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - Accused cop killer Markeith Loyd was back in court on Tuesday morning.

Loyd is accused of killing his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Sade Dixon, in 2016. He's also accused of killing Orlando Police Lt. Debra Clayton.

Loyd's attorney's tried to convince the judge that the cases involving these deaths should not be death penalty cases. If found guilty, Loyd could be sentenced to death.
