Snapchat used to lure man into carjacking

- Police say that popular social app Snapchat is being used to lure victims into being carjacked.

One victim told police that he arranged to meet a woman he met on Snapchat. The two went for a drive together when a car approached them at the intersection of Gore and Orange Blossom Trail. Two males exited the vehicle and were armed with guns.

He went on to tell police that the men held him at gunpoint while the woman sprayed pepper spray into his eyes. He was eventually forced onto the ground outside the car, while the woman and suspects took his car and drove off together.

The stolen car was a 2004 Silver Pontiac. The right front tire is a donut tire.

The victim says he is unsure of the suspect's car and he did not have a good description of anyone involved.
