Orange County Sheriffs Office have made an arrest of a man after they say is suspected in robbing two banks in two weeks.
Deputies say 23-year-old Taylor Creevy was arrested yesterday evening after he was located at Lake Underhill and Conway Road, minutes after he robbed the Regions Bank on West Colonial Drive.
Orange County sheriffs deputies responded to the bank after it was reported that a man had claimed to have a destructive device and left with case.
No one was injured and no devices were found inside the bank.
Deputies found Creevy later and were able to link him as the same suspect to a robbery at the Suntrust Bank on N. Alafaya Trail on the afternoon of October 27. There, deputies say he passed a note to the teller and implied that he had a weapon.
Creevy is facing two charges each of Robbery with Threat of a Weapon and Threat - Throw/place/discharge Destructive Device.
