2 dead in Orlando shooting incident

- Multiple law enforcement officers responded to a double-shooting inside a home on Somersworth Drive in west Orlando late Tuesday afternoon.  This house is located in the Pembroke subdivision just off of S. Hiawassee Drive. A spokesperson with the Orange County Sheriff's Office said that a preliminary investigation indicates that this may have been a murder-suicide and that no suspects being sought at this time.

"There were some screens heard, and I can't tell you how many shots were fired," said Major Nancy Brown with the Sheriff's Office.  "They heard screaming and shots fired."

Authorities said one man was found dead inside the home when fire officials arrived on scene.   A woman was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.  There were also two other adults and one child inside the house at the time of the shooting.  "Everyone else is okay. They were able to get out of the house," Major Brown added.

Neighbor Rebecca Brown was at work when she got a call from her teenage daughter that something was going on down the street.  "It was very scary, you never know why there would be 10-15 police cars and caution tape blocking the road, if it was some kind of dangerous situation," she said.

Right now, investigators are trying to determine a motive.
