11 people rescued as rip currents hit the Volusia County beaches
VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. (FOX 35 WOFL) - 11 people were rescued on Monday, as rip currents hit the Volusia County beaches.
The Volusia County Beach Safety says that they flew the red flag this Monday, as there were hazardous rip current conditions.
They say the rip currents caused them to rescue 11 people. All victims were brought to shore without incident.
