10-feet deep sinkhole leds to much wider cavern at Gemini Springs Park

A sinkhole is growing at Gemini Springs Park in Debary.

Park goers are now greeted with three big areas of fencing where kids and adults like used to run and exercise.

County officials say the sinkhole is several feet wide, several feet long, and more than 10 feet deep.

There is also a cavern under the hole that's much wider, which is concerning to park leaders.

Officials with the county say the sink hole opened up in December and they think it is the result of heavy rain from Hurricane Irma.
