'Suspicious' death investigated in Brevard County

SHARPES, Fla. (FOX 35 ORLANDO) - Deputies with the Brevard County Sheriff's Office are investigating what they are calling a "suspicious" death. 

Authorities responded to a residence on Garvin Streetd in Sharpes late Tuesday afternoon, where a body was discovered.  This is an active investigation that is in the early stages, so very few details have been released to the public. 

"At this time, [we are] still awaiting a search warrant to enter the residence and gather evidence," said Sheriff's Office spokesman Tod Goodyear.
