Local football coach fatally shot in Orange County

 A father and well-known football coach was fatally shot in Orange County early Sunday morning.

Ronald Moore, 37, was one of three men with gunshot wounds when Orange County deputies responded to a shooting call at 7523 Marietta Street, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Investigators said the shooting happened during a drug deal at the home.

Fox 35 confirmed Moore was a former assistant football coach at Seminole High School, as well as commissioner of the Sanford Seminoles Pop Warner League.

Two other men, Ronnie Moore, 53, and another unnamed man were also shot. The unnamed man was killed.

Ronnie Moore survived and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Detectives haven't released the unnamed man's name pending next-of-kin notification.
