Deputies search for suspects who crashed into Pine Hills homes

Two homeowners are left cleaning up after cars crash into their Pine Hills homes on Sunday morning.

Orange County deputies say at around 11 a.m., they responded to Pine Hills Road and Grandview drive.

What they found was the aftermath of a car crashing through the fence and into a resident's backyard. Not only that, they found that the same thing happened across the street with a second vehicle.

Just before the crashes, investigators say they received reports of people in two cars firing gunshots at each other.

One homeowner, Renjit Chetrem, said, "I heard some shots and maybe a minute after that this car came crashing through my backyard."

After the crashes, deputies say the suspects took off on foot. One passenger from each vehicle was found. One of them was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

"Life has to go on," Chetrem said. "All of us make mistakes in life and I pardon these individuals."

Investigators say they're still trying to track down all of the people involved.
