Man accused of making false report about bomb

Ocala police officers on Monday arrested a man, accused of making a false report about a bomb. 

The suspect entered a Chik-Fil-A restaurant and said he had a bomb inside his backpack, and then he left.

As they investigated the claim, officers arrived at the Office Depot, at 2701 SW College Rd., where the suspect was located and taken into custody.   The Marion County Sheriff's Office Bomb Squad later determined that there was no threat.

Jerome Dinsmore, 73, been charged with making a false report concerning planting a bomb and explosive or a weapon of mass destruction.
