Woman finds gem inside Arkansas state park

A Colorado woman makes a big find at Arkansas' Crater of Diamonds State Park.

On Wednesday, park visitor Bobbie Oskarson, of Longmont, Colorado, found an icicle-shaped 8.25 carat diamond while digging in an area called the Pig Pen, known for is muddy landscape after a rainstorm.

Park officials say it's the fifth largest diamond found by a visitor since the park was established in 1972.

The rough diamond is about half the size of a quarter.

Oskarson named her find the Esperanza Diamond, after her niece, and plans to keep the gem.
