Solar storm causes beautiful sky for star watchers

 A major storm caused quite an impressive show in the sky Tuesday.  

Astronaut Scott Kelly captured the images from the International Space Station showing a bright red aurora around earth. 

 The auroras happening after a severe storm slammed earth of Monday.  

 It's possible people as far south and Pennsylvania and Iowa may be able to see the reddish glow.  

 NOAA says this was the biggest solar storm to hit earth since March.
