Search for man who robbed Apopka store Las Tres Banderas, police say

 
Apopka police officers are searching for a man they said held a store clerk at gunpoint Saturday morning.

The man drove to Las Tres Banderas store on 397 E. Main Street in a green minivan with no hubcaps, police said.

In the store police said he showed the clerk a small black gun. He demanded cash and threatened to start shooting people if he did not get more. The clerk complied.

Police said he drove off in the minivan.

Witnesses said he's Hispanic, Spanish-speaking with a Puerto Rican accent. He was wearing a blue flannel shirt and a baseball cap with the word "Florida" on it.

On the tip of the bill the initials "FL" can also be seen.

Anyone with information, call Apopka Police. The man is considered armed and dangerous.
