Volusia County Beach Safety rescues 32 people

 Two people taken to the hospital in New Smyrna Beach were among 32 people rescued out of the ocean, Volusia Beach Safety said.

Seven people were stung by jellyfish. Their injuries were minor, according to Beach Safety.

Beach Safety said tower guards were held over their normal time because of hazardous rip current conditions. Beach Safety expects the same tomorrow.
