Some Orlando theme parks considering banning 'selfie sticks'

Selfie sticks may soon be banned from some Orlando's theme parks.

The Orlando Sentinel reports operators at local area attractions are talking about the "selfie-stick situation."

Many say the hand-held rods that hold a smartphone or camera can be dangerous especially on rides or inside attractions.

Many guests also complain they invade their personal space.

Selfie sticks are already banned from many museums around the world.  Just this week, large music festivals in California and Chicago banned the selfie sticks for safety and security reasons.
