Daytona Beach man accused of shooting up party turns self in, police say

The man accused of shooting four people at a party turned himself in Monday morning, Daytona Beach Police said.

Vincent Smith is being held on $100,000 bond in the Volusia County jail on charges of aggravated battery and discharging a firearm in public.

Police said Smith shot up a party on the 300 block of Henry Butts Drive early Friday morning because he was upset about getting kicked out of it.

About 50 people were in the house at the time.

Police said the victims did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
