Apopka girl, 13, remembered after car hits, kills her

An Apopka teen died after getting struck by a car.

It's a story that reminds every parent to make time to show their children every day that they're loved.

Friends of Trinity Bachmann, 13, say she was very bubbly and loved her pet pig.

She died Saturday night, after police say she was sitting in the street, following an argument with her family.

Officers say a 21-year-old woman's car struck the teenager.

While interviewing her, police say they found an open container of alcohol inside the car.

Investigators say it could take two weeks until the woman's toxicology report comes back in order to decide if she'll be charged.

Bachmann's family says Trinity's beloved pet pig will be auctioned this weekend at the Central Florida Fairgrounds.
